Not everybody's on vacation, even when they come to Central Florida, and Orlando hotels are getting wise to the market. Even some modest, mostly tourist-oriented properties offer business centers with fax machines and copiers and in-room dataports.
Still, the biz crowd tends to gravitate to downtown Orlando hotels. The biggies are those hotels near the Orlando Arena (which locals call the “O-rena”) and the Orlando Expo Center.
As with most urban areas, parking is a problem in downtown Orlando. Some hotels have valet parking while others boast a paid parking lot. If you and your vehicle venture into downtown proper, don't even think about cheating the meter. Justice, or at least parking enforcement, is swift and sure.
The Comfort Suites Orlando lures business travelers with its complimentary breakfast and parking, in addition to its close location to International Drive and the Orange County Convention Center.
